Change Makers LLC

The Change Makers LLC is a living-learning community (LLC) designed to聽foster civic engagement that support students in creating solutions to real-world issues.聽Change Maker Scholars is a selective merit-based scholarship program for academically strong students interested in civic engagement and creating solutions to real-world issues. Scholars will聽work to develop awareness and understanding of community connections and appreciation for diverse communities and cultures; seek opportunities to create and promote civic practices that lead to constructive community participation; pursue leadership opportunities on campus and in the community; and develop a constellation of mentors involving Elon faculty, staff, and peers.

Members of the LLC take their聽ENG 1100: Writing: Argument and Inquiry聽(a required聽First-Year Foundations聽course) together in the fall semester. (Change Maker Scholars will be automatically enrolled in this course unless coming to Elon with prior credit.)
