The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study and teaching opportunities to recent graduates in more than 140 countries, with approximately 1,900 grants awarded annually in all fields of study.

Sophia Enriquez, assistant professor of music, held a conference on Elon's campus about Latinx musical traditions of migrant farmworkers in North Carolina during the second half of the 20th century.

The Polyglot Lunch is held each Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lakeside Dining Hall, free for faculty, students and staff interested in improving language skills.

The fifth Hispanic film series, “Global Migrations through the Lens of International Politics and Human Rights,” ended Nov. 18 with the screening of the final movie, "Guie’Dani’s Navel" and were joined virtually by the film's director, Xavi Sala.

The final conference, “The Persistence of the Nightmare: Argentine Narrative of the 21st Century," was hosted by Distinguished Professor at North Carolina State University Greg Dawes at Carlton Commons on Nov. 9.

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) has chosen three �������޹�����Ʒ faculty projects, naming five new CATL Scholars for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years. The new CATL Scholars include Chris Richardson, co-scholars Ketevan Kupatadze & Elena Schoonmaker-Gates, and co-scholars Katie Baker & Dani Lane.
