Erin Barnett ’09 will be honored before a Nov. 9 screening of “Food Chains,” a 2014 documentary film she edited that highlights agricultural labor in the United States.

Twenty-six students met with communications professionals and ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· alumni, receiving a behind-the-scenes look at the operations of several media organizations.

The freelance photojournalist based in Washington, D.C., presented a one-hour webinar titled “InstaSnap: Reporting Live Video 10 Seconds at a Time.”

The director of the Elon in Los Angeles program chronicled the life of acclaimed artist Betty Gold, and the final product will be screened on Nov. 3 at the 2017 Mallorca International Film Festival.

Assistant Professor of Sport Management Mark Cryan has directed a summer program the past two years that provides cultural and language exchange events for Latin American players with the Burlington Royals. 

The Sport Management Department hosted its annual fall internship forum on Sept. 18, featuring Carol Pyszkowski ’16 as the event’s keynote speaker. The gathering also highlighted several SPT students and their professional experiences during the past summer.

Nicholas Dyer ’11, senior producer for the late-night Comedy Central program, was honored with colleagues on Sept. 9 at the Creative Arts Emmy Award show in Los Angeles.

Abby Bradbury ’13 works in the athletics department at the University of California, Berkeley, and shared her personal and professional insights with Associate Professor Hal Walker’s Contemporary Sport Management class.
