Courtney Graham and Alex Moss graduated from ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· this month having made a lasting contribution to their community while studying at ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·. The duo are the first two alumni of Elon’s Civic Engagement Scholar program, which was designed for students looking to make a positive change by partnering with local organizations in need of assistance.
Elon senior brings ‘Lemonade Day’ to Alamance County

Running a lemonade stand can be the first step toward a business career, as hundreds of children will discover Saturday when they set up shop across Alamance County as part of the national ‘Lemonade Day’ project. For Tim Porter, however, Lemonade Day means so much more, and the ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· senior believes what kids have already learned through his efforts will stay with them forever.
