�������޹�����Ʒ's outreach librarian spoke in May about Belk Library’s Personal Librarian Program at the Librarians’ Association at UNC-Chapel Hill 2015 Research Forum.

In "Mexico in Verse: A History of Music, Rhyme, and Power", Associate Professor of History Michael Matthews, along with Stephen Neufeld of Cal State Fullerton, use music and poetry to gain access to the worldviews and beliefs of ordinary people often overlooked in the historical narrative. 

�������޹�����Ʒ Assistant Professor Sarah L. Glasco’s first book explores the way a diverse mix of writers and artists shaped Jean-Philippe Toussaint’s stories and how the popular Belgian author references literature and film in his novels to expose readers to other cultures.

Associate Professor Prudence Layne worked with Peter F. Lake of Sheffield Hallam University on "Global Innovation of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education: Transgressing Boundaries."

Professor Anne Bolin in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology is co-editor of the new three-volume International Encyclopedia of Human Sexuality "with over 500 entries that define sexuality from a broad biocultural perspective and show the diversity of human sexual behavior."

The librarians presented their collaborations with campus and community partners in service learning and civic engagement at the 2015 Pathways to Achieving Civic Engagement Conference.

Coordinator of Instruction and Outreach Librarian Patrick Rudd led library service work at Ekukhanyisweni Primary School during the Winter Term study abroad class to South Africa.

Catalog Librarian Shannon Tennant spoke about library instruction at the midwinter American Library Association conference in Chicago on Jan. 31, 2015.

Associate Professor Shawn Tucker in the Department of Art and Art History had an anthology of source documents on the virtues and vices in the arts published by Cascade Press.
