Scores of ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· students took part Friday afternoon in the Hindu festival of Holi, a celebration of color that ushers in the season while marking the triumph of good over evil.

The Department of Sport and Event Management's spring "Event Management" class will host a dinner on April 27 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. benefitting Communications Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Tickets are $5 for students, $8 for guests and can be purchased at the event or online at signanddineelon.eventbrite.com

The fifth annual gratitude event, held April 14-16, celebrated the impact of philanthropy at Elon by encouraging members of the campus community to write thank-you notes to university donors.

The Alamance County 4-H Initiative of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension will be hosting a festival on May 16. Volunteers are needed to assist in various aspects of the program.
