With clearance from the American Bar Association and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Elon Law is set to enroll its first students to an in-person, part-time Juris Doctor program at �������޹�����Ʒ's new campus in the city's South End neighborhood.

Associate Professor Elena Kennedy served in a leadership role at the USASBE conference.

The plan will continue to further Elon’s commitment to comprehensive internationalization, to ensure that all students graduate with the global perspectives, knowledge, cultural awareness, and humility needed to thrive in today’s world.

School of Communications faculty members Cara Lucia, Shaina Dabbs and Mark Cryan co-published a manuscript, titled “Why Living in a Sport Management Learning Community Matters,” in the Sports Innovation Journal.

"Co-Teaching in Teacher Education: Centering Equity" examines teacher preparation programs that have successfully used a co-teaching model to improve the clinical experience for teacher candidates and to instill a disposition for equitable practice. The volume challenges teacher preparation programs to prepare educators to work together to support all students in today's diverse classrooms.

Liam Dupas ’26, Aaron Chan ’26 and Julien Dupas ’26 received a 2023 Broadcast Education Association (BEA) Award of Excellence for their micro documentary, “The Inspirational Story of Finn Curran-Ng’asi.” The project explores Curran-Ng’asi’s journey from gaming, vaping, smoking and generally unhealthy habits to transforming his life through calisthenics and weight training.

Associate Professors Sean McMahon and Elena Kennedy’s co-authored research received both the Best Overall Paper and Best Empirical Paper at the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship’s 2024 national conference.

Kirk, a professor of political science and policy studies at Elon, is the author of the 2021 book "Rising Star: The Meaning of Nikki Haley, Trump’s Unlikely Ambassador."

As a Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellow, the journalism major and Leadership Fellow will travel this summer to Copenhagen, Denmark, to examine an underreported policy that leaves inmates released to the community with crushing debt.

To conclude this year’s study away course in the Caribbean, Interactive Media students hosted presentations on Jan. 24 to highlight their Projects for the Public Good supporting Barbados Red Cross and Lifelong Skills Training Inc.
