This fall break, from Oct. 12-14, the Kernodle Center for Civic Life is offering two programs: Environmental Sustainability (Wilmington, North Carolina) and Food Justice (Asheville, North Carolina).
In Asheville, you will engage in direct service聽with nonprofit organizations including: Bountiful Cities,聽Root Cause Farm and聽Bounty & Soul聽while learning about food insecurity in western North Carolina.
In Wilmington, you will learn about the importance of land and water conservation by working with organizations like聽Cape Fear River Watch聽and the聽North Carolina Coastal Land Trust.
