Elon Law offers legal education in two of North Carolina’s largest legal markets. Students can attend law school in Charlotte or Greensboro, pursuing a full-time 2.5-year J.D. at each campus, while working professionals can earn their J.D. through the part-time Flex Program in Charlotte.
At both campuses — the downtown Greensboro campus and, beginning in Fall 2027, the Queens University of Charlotte campus in historic Myers Park — students benefit from Elon Law’s experiential approach, dedicated faculty and strong connections to the legal profession.
An Innovative Law School in North Carolina
Elon Law offers an innovative curriculum that connects rigorous academics with real-world legal practice. Full-time students complete their J.D. in just 2.5 years over seven trimesters, allowing them to graduate sooner and begin their legal careers earlier.
The curriculum is intentionally designed to move students from learning legal doctrine to applying it through writing, advocacy, problem-solving and real-world experience.

Learn by Doing
Experiential learning is at the heart of an Elon Law education. Students connect legal theory with practice through the signature Residency-in-Practice, live-client legal clinics, Moot Court and Mock Trial programs, legal writing and other hands-on experiences.

A Part-Time Law School Program in Charlotte
Elon Law’s Flex Program offers working professionals and place-bound students the opportunity to earn a J.D. through a part-time, in-person law school program in Charlotte.
Flex students bring their professional experience into the classroom while developing legal knowledge, practical skills and relationships with faculty, classmates and members of Charlotte’s legal community. Beginning in Fall 2027, the Flex Program will be hosted on the historic campus of Queens University of Charlotte in the Myers Park neighborhood.
