Elon Law students have access to first-rate facilities and technology

The law school building, named in honor of Greensboro business leader and philanthropist H. Michael Weaver, underwent a $6 million renovation before the charter class enrolled in fall 2006.

Wireless Internet access is available throughout the 84,000-square-foot facility.

Building hours generally match those of the law school library, but please refer to the calendar link for up to date hours.

The main floor includes the following:

    • Weaver Lobby, which is used for a variety of receptions and gatherings
    • Robert E. Long Courtroom
    • Stanley and Dorothy Frank Conference/Jury Room
    • Tobee and Leonard Kaplan Classroom
    • A multipurpose classroom that serves as a second courtroom
    • Dean’s suite and conference rooms
    • Office space for faculty, administration and student organizations

 


The upper level includes the following:

  • Cemala Foundation Commons
  • Legal Grounds Coffee Shop
  • Lincoln Financial Group Classroom
  • Lorillard Classroom
  • Two seminar rooms
  • Faculty offices
  • Jetton and Meredith Student Lounge

 


The lower floor and mezzanine are the location of the聽law library, which includes the following:

  • An extensive print and electronic collection
  • Study carrels and comfortable furniture
  • Tannenbaum Sternberger Leadership Studies Room
  • Numerous group study rooms and staff offices
