Waste Reduction at Elon

Elon has a goal to reach听50% landfill diversion by 2030.听Currently about 31% of the solid waste stream is diverted from the landfill. Elon’s听 includes a variety of recommendations and strategies to achieve 50% landfill diversion by 2030.

All trash, recycling and composting is managed by听Environmental Services.
