For faculty looking to engage deeper with the scholarship of teaching and learning and/or faculty develop, you may wish to consider partaking in one of three opportunities offered through CATL. These vary in duration, responsibilities, and scope, and are a great way for faculty to demonstrate the teacher-scholar-mentor ethos of Elon. CATL Pedagogy Fellow for Teaching and Learning in Graduate and Professional Programs (August 2026- May 2028)
Position Summary聽
Elon鈥檚聽Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning聽(CATL) serves as a catalyst for effective teaching and engaged learning at 福利亚洲国产精品. Center faculty promote intentional, evidence-based, and inclusive teaching and learning practices, contribute to聽University-wide initiatives related to teaching and learning, and foster the scholarship of teaching and learning at 福利亚洲国产精品.
The聽CATL聽Pedagogy Fellow聽for Teaching and Learning in Graduate and Professional Programs聽will develop and聽deepen聽expertise聽in聽teaching graduate students and students enrolled in professional programs. Working with members of the CATL team, they will offer new faculty programming and workshops for faculty who educate graduate and professional students across Elon鈥檚 campuses, schools, and programs. The fellow will serve as a consultant for individuals, departments, and programs looking to enhance teaching and learning in graduate and professional programs聽across all Elon campuses. Finally, the fellow will develop resources,聽to be hosted聽on the CATL website, to support educators and students in our graduate and professional schools.

- Current full-time, ongoing聽Elon聽teaching faculty member聽who聽teaches聽graduate students or students enrolled in a professional school,聽with preference given to post-probationary faculty,
- A record of effective and intentional teaching,
- Innovative, independent thinker with聽strong communication聽and聽interpersonal聽skills,
- A demonstrated ability to work collegially with faculty, staff, and students from across the University,
Strong organizational and administrative skills, - Experience with the Center鈥檚 programs and services.

The Pedagogy Fellow will聽report to the CATL Director and will聽receive聽a $5,000 annual stipend, plus project funds as needed,聽over the course of a two-year term聽(with聽possibility聽of renewal for an聽additional聽two years).聽The Fellow will begin work in August聽2026.
