Omicron Delta Epsilon
Earn membership in , the international honor society for economics, and join a community of students and faculty who share an interest in economic study, research and professional development. ODE recognizes outstanding academic achievement in economics while creating opportunities to build relationships with faculty and peers, develop leadership skills, participate in service and networking, and engage with the discipline beyond the classroom through research, travel and professional experiences. Elon鈥檚 chapter is advised by Devon Hawkins, assistant teaching professor of economics.
The Econ Games
Put your economics, data analysis and teamwork skills to the test at , a national competition where student teams have 24 hours to analyze a real-world data problem and develop a solution across multiple rounds of competition. Participants apply economic reasoning, quantitative skills and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment while gaining experience presenting their findings and competing alongside students from universities across the country. Elon鈥檚 team is mentored by Brooks Depro, associate professor of economics.
Elon Consulting Club
Explore a career in consulting through the where students build the skills and confidence needed to navigate the recruiting process. Practice mock case interviews, strengthen your resume and interviewing skills, and connect with alumni and professionals working in consulting to learn more about the industry and potential career paths. Members gain hands-on preparation for consulting recruitment while building a network of peers and alumni with shared professional interests. The club is mentored by Brooks Depro, professor of economics.
