Located at 417 N. Williamson Ave., the Center for the Arts at ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· is down the street from Elon Community Church (in the direction of the Schar Center and University Drive). The building faces the Oaks Apartments, which are directly across the street, and sits next to Lake Mary Nell.

Music in the Village classes take place on the first floor of the Center for the Arts, in Yeager Recital Hall and in classrooms in the Music Department wing of the building. The Center for the Arts also houses McCrary Theatre.

Eligible Participants: Focused on ABSS Students

This program is designed for upper elementary and middle/junior high school students from the Alamance Burlington School System (ABSS). However, our classes are open to all who are aged 7 and above.

Classes Offered

  • Group Piano for Beginners/Intermediate level students (limited enrollment of 14 students).
  • Group Guitar
  • Group Drumming
  • Song Writing/Basic Sound Design

Additional Information

  • All classes are also open to parents depending upon availability of seats
  • All ABSS students wanting to participate must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, students can’t be dropped off. Parents or Guardians must remain on site with their children.
