During the two-day trip, 36 School of Communications students visited media outlets and Elon alumni in Atlanta as part of their first-year fellows experience.

Donald Remy spoke to several ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· classes on Nov. 5, addressing topics related to amateurism, the NCAA’s history and present-day issues facing collegiate athletics.

The assistant professor in the Sport Management Department traveled to Mumbai, India, over fall break to discuss the global sports media landscape.

The Sport Management Department hosted its annual fall internship forum on Oct. 7, featuring a poster session highlighting the summer internships of 25 students.

The two-day summit marked the official launch of the "Act-Belong-Commit" framework, which promotes a mentally healthy Elon campus.

Five alumnae returned to campus to network with female students studying in the Sport Management Department.

The recent Elon graduate was named the Hokies’ director of player development, hired to assist the Atlantic Coast Conference program with coaching and development strategies, while utilizing new analytics software and equipment.

Elon against leads the conference in the number of students selected for the award which honors leadership, integrity, teamwork and sportsmanship on and off the field. 

To further strengthen Elon's student-centered learning environment, the School of Communications faculty and leadership decided to move to a new format with six undergraduate programs on June 1.

Elon alumna Shelby McKay ’13, senior academic advisor at George Washington University, provided a keynote address at the May 7 awards ceremony, highlighting her professional path and the influence of Elon’s community, while also sharing words of wisdom with the soon-to-be graduates.
