Five Elon students recently received a warm welcome in Italy as they became the first cohort to participate in the university’s new experiential learning partnership with Lumos Pistoia Basket 2000, a professional basketball club in Tuscany.

Since graduating from Elon, the journalism major has quickly built a career creating content for the University of Pittsburgh’s football and basketball programs.

David Bockino, professor of sport management, recently wrote an opinion piece on sports gambling for The Washington Post. Read an excerpt from the piece below.

A student-produced video chronicling the dance team’s journey to nationals received one of collegiate sports media’s top honors. The recognition came weeks after the team captured Division I national championships in both pom and hip hop.
