School of Education alumna Amanda Gardner Jones ’98 reflects on her experience as a teacher candidate while sitting on the other side of the interview table at the Elon Teacher Fair held on March 15, 2018.

On Monday, May 14, the School of Education will recognize faculty for their excellence in teaching, service, and scholarship at the annual school awards banquet beginning at 5 p.m.

On April 26 at 5 p.m., the School of Education will hold a discussion and authentic cultural food tied to the characters' stories in this year's book selection, "Refugee," by Alan Gratz, in Mooney 111.

The School of Education will recognize all graduating members of the class of 2018 on May 7.

The School of Education will show a special screening of
"Night School" on April 10 at 5 p.m. in Turner Theatre. The screening will be followed by snacks and conversation around important topics raised by the film.

A recipient of Elon's Leadership Prize, Kobos is responding to the needs of educators in linguistically diverse schools.

Book, who began her term as Elon's ninth president on March 1, visited Newlin Elementary School and Eastlawn Elementary School where she met with students, teachers and staff. 

Students in the Adventure-Based Learning senior capstone class developed and submitted conference presentation proposals focused on topics such as mental health and the outdoors, technology use, and group dynamics on expedition programs at the Association for Experiential Education southeast regional conference Feb. 23-25.
