The ACC commissioner headlined the 2025 Sport Management Symposium, where he addressed key issues in college athletics, including NIL policies, the House v. NCAA settlement, and transfer portal challenges, while advocating for standardized rules and student-athlete development.

Presented by the School of Communications Inclusive Excellence Committee, the interactive event brought together students, faculty, staff and alumni to discuss a broad range of issues related to inclusivity in communications, journalism and the media.

¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· students captured 11 awards in the 2025 BEA Festival of Media Arts, an international competition recognizing excellence in digital media and broadcasting. The School of Communications alumna began her career at Elon’s student newspaper before working for the Burlington Times-News, the Tennessean and Politico. Her work has earned multiple awards, including the grand prize at the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Book and Journalism Awards.

The cinema and television arts graduate serves as the playoff’s Tom Mickle Communications and Social Media Intern, supporting the creation and execution of a year-round social media strategy that emphasizes its brand and voice.
