A team of sport management and business majors recently competed in the 2019 Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) case competition while also providing analytics support for the Elon Phoenix baseball team.

The Women’s Elon in Entertainment Empire mentorship program held its first informational meeting and social gathering on March 14, bringing together female students interested in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles.

The WSOC-TV journalist was recognized for his dogged reporting that helped establish with certainty that McCrae Dowless, a Republican political consultant, orchestrated a plot to influence a rural North Carolina congressional race. 

Twenty-two students from ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·’s Communications Fellows program participated in a two-week trip in January to the Sunshine State, touring communications companies, meeting with industry professionals, and gaining insights into their future careers.

During Assistant Professor David Bockino’s Through the Lens of ESPN class, students enjoyed a staggering media tour, visiting ESPN, Fox Sports, SNY, MLB.com and the New York Yankees, as well as sports outlets and athletic venues in Bueno Aires.

The Arizona State University graduate student will contribute to a national investigative reporting project this summer, examining how the federal government has responded to natural disasters over the past several decades.
