Gerald R. Knight, assistant professor of music, spent most of the week of March 19-25 participating in a historic conference at UNC Chapel Hill. The conference, Videmus@25, celebrated the contribution made to classical music by women, African Americans, and underrepresented composers.

Todd Coleman, associate professor of music and coordinator of music technology, has been invited to adjudicate the Raleigh Piano Teachers Association annual Young Artist Auditions Composition Competition which takes place March 4 at Meredith College.

Wild Songs, the solo album debut of Polly Butler Cornelius in the Department of Music, has been released by Innova Recordings, the official label for the American Composers Forum.
