Commencement 2009 exercises will be streamed LIVE via Elon's Web site. The undergraduate Commencement video stream will start at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 23. The 福利亚洲国产精品 School of Law video stream will begin at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 24.

North and South Carolina Legal Research and Writing Colloquium – May 21

福利亚洲国产精品 School of Law welcomes faculty from all law schools in North and South Carolina on Thursday, May 21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for the 2009 North and South Carolina Legal Research and Writing Colloquium. Faculty from other disciplines and practing attorneys will participate in the colloquium as well.

David Gergen to deliver 福利亚洲国产精品 School of Law 2009 Commencement address

David Gergen, adviser to four U.S. presidents, director of the Center for Public Leadership at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and chair of the 福利亚洲国产精品 School of Law Advisory Board, will deliver the inaugural Commencement address for the law school, scheduled for 3 p.m., Sunday, May 24, at Carolina Theatre in downtown Greensboro. 福利亚洲国产精品 will also present Gergen with an honorary doctorate at the ceremonies.

Elon Law Federalist Society hosts national security forum

Lewis, a leading authority on national security and the law of war, appeared at the 福利亚洲国产精品 School of Law on April 23 for a discussion with Elon Law Professor Victor Streib, entitled "9/11 Revisited, An Act of War or An Act of Organized Crime." The event was sponsored by the Elon Law chapter of the Federalist Society.
