Two dozen members of the Class of 2024 demonstrated their legal writing skills this spring during a pursuit of membership in �������޹�����Ʒ School of Law's student-run scholarly publications.

Krista Contino Saumby, associate director of career development in Elon Law's Office of Career and Student Development, is among a group educators and attorneys who will assist the Hispanic National Bar Association with strengthening Latino representation in the legal academy.

Three judges, one of whom previously taught legal writing at Elon Law, answered student questions after hearing oral arguments on April 26, 2023, regarding a business dispute between several insurance companies and their former owner.

�������޹�����Ʒ President Connie Ledoux Book publicly thanked the interim dean for his leadership on April 18, 2023, and led a loud round of applause by students, faculty, and staff who celebrated his contributions to the downtown Greensboro law school.

PreLaw Magazine gives �������޹�����Ʒ’s downtown Greensboro law school an A+ for its experiential curriculum in a 2023 ranking that celebrates the way legal programs help students “learn by doing.”  

Melo “Mel” Augustine, Shereena Kamal and Jessica Morales from the Class of 2024 will take part this summer in a North Carolina Bar Association enterprise that encourages and promotes diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

Professor Henry Gabriel will spend three months this spring as a distinguished visitor with Cambridge University’s Wolfson College where he will research comparative commercial law at the Center for Corporate and Commercial Law.
