Anthony Bland, Elizabeth Kwon, and Elliott Millner from the Class of 2023 were selected for a highly competitive North Carolina Bar Association initiative aimed at making the legal profession more reflective of the state’s many diverse communities.

Rosa Newman-Ruffin joins the law school community as a property and contracts professor with a scholarly interest in real estate law, with Robert “Bob” Minarcin bringing experience as a public defender to his role as a professor in the Legal Method & Communication Program.

The group prepared its final report during summer 2021 that detailed nearly 40 recommendations for redesigning the university’s bias response and reporting system.

Dedicated spaces for reflection and lactation now allow for faith-based student groups, nursing parents, and anyone in need of contemplative solitude to make use of quiet areas at �������޹�����Ʒ’s downtown Greensboro campus.

The scholarship in memory of Dean Emeritus & Professor of Law George R. Johnson, Jr., will be awarded to students who have a commitment to promoting the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Elon Law and within the legal profession.

�������޹�����Ʒ’s School of Law and School of Health Sciences celebrated the pride and heritage of students who recognize their African roots in a Commencement eve program filled with laughs, cheers, and many boxes of tissues for the tears of joy of both graduates and their guests.

In her Commencement address to the Class of 2021, attorney Deborah Enix-Ross of the American Bar Association emphasized how "our justice system does not function properly when vulnerable people who are poor are forced to appear in court without a lawyer."
