Graduate students in ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·’s Physician Assistant Studies program learned Tuesday from faculty and staff across campus how to create meaningful relationships with underserved and vulnerable populations.

Four faculty members in Elon 's Department of Physician Assistant Studies presented at the 2014 Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Forum held in Philadelphia on Oct. 15-19.

The director of ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·'s Physician Assistant Studies program received the PAEA's 2014 Master Faculty Award for her contributions to physician assistant education.

A federal program of the Health Resources and Services Administration will provide full tuition and a stipend to four ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· graduate students planning to work in medically underserved regions across the United States.
