Class of 2021, join a special hour to kick off the Elon Day Extravaganza. Come by Young Commons from 4 to 5 p.m. to pick up your Class of 2021 T-shirt and Elon luggage tag (be sure to make your senior class gift). Grab some food from a food truck and stick around for the band!

Friends, Fans and the Whole Elon Community

On Tuesday, March 2, the global Elon community can participate in a daylong celebration by sharing their Elon spirit on social media and making a gift to the area of campus that means the most to them.

As in years past, donors will be able to make gifts toward specific areas of campus that mean the most to them. These areas include student scholarships, affinity networks (Elon Black Alumni Network, Elon Jewish Alumni Network, Elon Latinx/Hispanic Alumni Network and the LGBTQIA Alumni Network), academic schools and departments, and the Phoenix Club (Elon Athletics). For those wanting to make a difference in the Alamance County community, consider making a gift to the Elon Academy, part of the Center for Access and Success. All Elon Day gifts will also count toward the聽Elon LEADS Campaign.

Elon Day 2019 College Coffee

Enjoy special refreshments in honor of Mardi Gras, which is also March 5. The event will feature a short program with special remarks at 9:55 a.m. Those who can’t attend can watch the remarks via live stream. 

Seniors, faculty and staff will be able to make Elon Day donations at the event. Student Alumni Ambassadors will also be onsite to take Elon Day photos. Be sure to wear your maroon and use #ElonDay on social media!

Elon’s Student Alumni Ambassadors will be operating two maroon and gold “Prize Cab” golf carts taking students from College Coffee to their classes and giving them the opportunity to win prizes by answering questions along the way.

The Senior Class Giving Committee and Faculty and Staff Giving Committee will also host tables where donations can be made.

Food and drinks are provided in addition to free activities including a Skee-Ball competition, customizable bumper stickers, and a photo booth. The event will also feature DJ Ciara Graves. Students 21 years and older can purchase beer for $3 and wine for $5 at the party (cash only).

As the Elon baseball team takes on Liberty at 4 p.m. in Latham Park on #ElonDay, Student Activities and the Department of Athletics are hosting a student tailgate on Bank of America Drive from 3-5 p.m. This is a great opportunity for all Elon students to come together, celebrate Elon Athletics and #ElonDay! The tailgate will include:

• Food truck
• DJ
• Inflatables
• Corn hole boards
