�������޹�����Ʒ celebrated the Class of 2026 on May 22 as students officially became alumni during the university’s 136th Commencement Ceremonies in Schar Center, where they were encouraged to embrace failure, pursue growth and remain hopeful about the future.

Rua’s visit was part of Elon Music Theatre’s ongoing initiative to bring working industry professionals to campus for training, exposure to current Broadway practices, and expanded educational opportunities for students.

Retirees were honored during a faculty/staff luncheon on May 12 in Alumni Gym.

Helena Padial ’26 was awarded Broadway’s Next Triple Threat award at the Chita Rivera Awards on May 18.

The workshop focuses on collaborative research, in small groups of underrepresented genders, including female-identifying researchers, each group working on an open problem in a particular area of mathematical biology guided by a senior group leader. 

Elon faculty and students recently publish findings showing that brief outdoor mindfulness practices can significantly improve college students’ well-being, mindfulness, and connection to nature.

Tori Layton ’26 will further her education and obtain her master’s degree in Germany through the DAAD grant.
