Alexa Milan '10 won five awards, including three first-place finishes, from the North Carolina Press Association for her work with the Sanford Herald. Samiha Khanna '03 took home a second place honor from the NCPA for a story she wrote with three others for the Indy.

Students from ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·’s School of Communications and Interactive Media master’s program placed in several awards categories of this year’s Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts. They will be recognized at the organization’s annual conference April 15-18 in Las Vegas.

Communications associate professor Byung Lee offered the pre-conference Flash workshop at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication Midwinter conference at the University of Oklahoma March 2, 2012.
