Elon grandparent Tony Duke Sr., GP ’08, ’09, couldn’t let a little snow slow him down. Nor could the snow stop a coterie of Elon Leadership Fellows from meeting March 2 with the longtime university supporter.

¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· junior Amber Mathis has received a Newman Civic Fellows Award from Campus Compact, a national organization that aims to improve community life and to educate college students on civic and social responsibility. She is one of 135 students from 30 states to receive the award.

The MBA Student Alumni Association hosted a golf tournament that raised $1,000 in support of the Elon Academy Dream Fund, a special budget created by the association three years ago to assist Elon Academy with college visits, involve students in school and community projects, and help students and families when unexpected life situations arise.
