The Writing Center provides direct, one-to-one support to all writers at ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· — students, staff, faculty, and community members.

Douglas Kass, assistant professor of communications, is presenting on
“Teaching 2-Column Script Writing” on Nov. 1.

Paula Rosinski, professor of English and director of Writing Across the University, and a Writing Center consultant will present on “Learning iMovie and Designing Video Assignments” on Oct. 25, 2017.

Kim Epting, associate professor of psychology, will present on
“What keystroke-logging research tells us about student writing: An experimental psychologist’s view" on Oct. 11.

Associate Professor Catherine Wasson and Professor Sue Liemer served as facilitators and panelists at a biennial gathering of scholars from around the world who focus their teaching on legal research and writing.

This session is designed for all teaching faculty interested in getting feedback on their writing assignments and learning about best practices in writing instruction. Those working on the Writing Excellence Initiative for their majors may find this session especially helpful. Held on 8/23/17 at noon.

Julia Bleakney, director of the Writing Center in the Center for Writing Excellence, published a journal article on the value and impact of student leadership in the writing center.

Professor Sue Liemer served from 1998-2000 as president of the Association of Legal Writing Directors and served a four-year term on the Board of Directors of the Legal Writing Institute.
