Elon’s Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning is helping position the university as a national thought leader in teaching practices and supporting student learning.

The annual Design Forge will last from April 7 through April 9 with a series of discussion and events featuring Elon faculty and design thinking professionals from around the world.

All first-year students in the School of Health Sciences participated in a professional identity formation activity that connected self, colleagues, future healthcare team collaborators and the Maker Hub.

Sophia Enriquez, assistant professor of music, held a conference on Elon's campus about Latinx musical traditions of migrant farmworkers in North Carolina during the second half of the 20th century.

Hamel and Vandermast, together with co-authors from Dartmouth College and Grinnell College, published a study in the fall 2021 issue of Scholarship and Practice of Undergraduate Research, a peer-reviewed journal of the Council of Undergraduate Research.

The final conference, “The Persistence of the Nightmare: Argentine Narrative of the 21st Century," was hosted by Distinguished Professor at North Carolina State University Greg Dawes at Carlton Commons on Nov. 9.

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) has chosen three �������޹�����Ʒ faculty projects, naming five new CATL Scholars for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years. The new CATL Scholars include Chris Richardson, co-scholars Ketevan Kupatadze & Elena Schoonmaker-Gates, and co-scholars Katie Baker & Dani Lane.

Darda's talk with the Department of English was based on his upcoming book “The Strange Career of Racial Liberalism.”

Three Elon colleagues collaborated on peer-reviewed investigation of whether syllabus format affects students' retention of course information.

Nearly 600 participants from more than 150 institutions registered for the conference hosted by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) and Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) and held Thursday, June 10.
