Charlotte Alumni Chapter hosted its third annual Habitat service day

Alumni packaged more than 10,000 pounds of food at the SHARE Food Program.

The student-run news organization was honored with eight awards, including four first-place finishes, and several School of Communications graduates were recognized for their professional journalism efforts.

The assistant professor of communications teamed with fellow faculty member Ryan Witt and three cinema and television arts majors to produce “Gull,” a short-subject film that won Best Editing at the 2017 Free Spirit Film Festival in Dharamsala, India.

More than 20 class and affinity groups hosted milestone reunion celebrations on campus during Homecoming weekend, Nov. 3-5. 

John Sellers ’66 and wife Faye were recognized by the Shenandoah chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals during a Nov. 13 ceremony.

For the fourth year, alumni and senior class donors will be recognized at the holiday celebration on Dec. 5.
