¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· 3,000 alumni joined Elon students, faculty and staff on campus for a variety of events celebrating their common connection to the university, each other. 

The annual "Rock the Block" Homecoming celebration drew hundreds of alumni, students, faculty and staff for music, games, food and fun. The crowd cheered the announcement that $6.1 million was given by alumni this year as part of their reunions.

The ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· alumnus oversaw the production of a full-length film titled “Virginia 12th,” which follows the story of Chris Hurst, a one-time news anchor who was thrust into national headlines when his girlfriend and colleague were murdered during a live news broadcast. The 64-minute documentary charts Hurst’s journey as he campaigns for political office.

The freelance photojournalist based in Washington, D.C., presented a lecture in a class offered by The Institute of Politics at the Harvard Kennedy School.

During the two-day trip, 29 students visited with communications professionals and ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· alumni, receiving a behind-the-scenes look at the operations of several prominent organizations, including CNN, Jackson Spalding and the Atlanta Falcons.
