Representatives from North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory’s administration surprised the longtime ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· professor of political science Thursday when they bestowed the award for Brumbaugh's service to the state.

¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·’s student-run strategic communications agency captured two student awards at the Triangle AdFed’s 2016 American Advertising Awards Gala. The event was held on Feb. 18 in downtown Durham.

The new Richard W. Sankey Hall, to be located just south of Colonnades Dining Hall, will provide classrooms and learning facilities for students in all academic majors.
