¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·’s Board of Trustees has created two special honors in tribute to President Leo M. Lambert and his wife Laurie for their 19 years of service.

Aaron Trocki, assistant professor of mathematics, and Maddie Jaudon, applied mathematics major, presented their research at the Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education Conference in San Diego, California on Feb. 22-24, 2018.

Amy Johnson, associate professor of history and director of the Elon Core Curriculum, presented a paper entitled "Legacies of Unfreedom: West African Bondage, Jamaican Realities and Slavery among the Maroons of Jamaica."

¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·’s ninth president begins work on March 1 with a day full of events to engage the campus community. Make plans to welcome President Book at a campus celebration, lunch with students, a Phoenix basketball game and other events.

Research co-authored by Assistant Professor Kate Upton examines the impact of a new asset class known as actively managed exchange traded funds (ETFs).

Assistant Professor of Political Science Jason Husser and Associate Professor of Communications Anthony Hatcher offered their thoughts on the career of the Rev. Billy Graham, who died Feb. 21 at the age of 99.
