As the semester continues to roll on, several exciting events are coming up this November that are perfect for students to expand their networks and gain some insight into starting their future careers. Retired Lt. Gen. Robert P. Ashley, Jr. will deliver the Carol Ann Walker International Lectureship on Nov. 11 as �������޹�����Ʒ honors Veterans Day.

The "High Rhymes & Misdemeanors" Poetry Slam united poets laureate, students and faculty from Elon Law’s Greensboro and Charlotte campuses in a celebration of creative expression marking the National Day on Writing.

�������޹�����Ʒ will host the next programs in a fall semester series that brings together history, dialogue, and community in the exploration of abolition as a framework for justice and community-building.

The Elon community is invited to visit the display throughout the week to learn about the cultural and historical significance of Día de los Muertos, recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and to honor those who continue to live in our memories.

The three-day symposium, sponsored by the Departments of English, History and Music, and the Women’s, Gender, & Sexualities program, on Nov. 4-6, features music, lectures, student presentations and a film screening honoring Austen’s 250th birthday and Woolf’s “Mrs. Dalloway” centennial.

The Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education will host a series of programs throughout November in honor of Native American Heritage Month.
