Seven �������޹�����Ʒ faculty members were honored with endowed professorships during the Opening Day ceremony on Monday, Aug. 19. Each faculty member was recognized for their passion in their field, commitment to students and service to the university.

Elon President Connie Ledoux Book presented the medallion to three longtime leaders at the university in academics, athletics and community engagement during an event marking the start of a new academic year. The university also recognized three named professorships during the event.

Moreau, a lecturer in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, was recognized for her poem “Break the Hen."

The national media outlet highlights 15 colleges and universities that are alternatives to Ivy League schools.

Caballero is one of 10 Doctor of Physical Therapy program students in the United States to receive the scholarship this year.

Elon was among the institutions selected by FirstGen Forward for its inaugural class of Network Champions.

With support from a $8,500 scholarship, the cinema and television arts BFA major will continue their academic pursuits at one of the world’s top film schools.

Ryu was also recently selected as an inaugural recipient of a fellowship by the Sylvia Bozeman and Rhonda Hughes EDGE Foundation that advances the research careers of women in the mathematical sciences.

The 2024 edition of the popular guide includes �������޹�����Ʒ’s downtown Greensboro law school with student praise for faculty mentors who “are what make this school shine.”

The competitive award will allow Levanti to continue her research on black holes in dwarf galaxies, which could have implications for NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope.
