Resa Walch, senior lecturer in wellness, was honored for her 22 years of service to ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· by the School of Education faculty and staff on April 3, 2019, in the McBride Gathering Space.

Patch, senior lecturer in English and College Writing (ENG 110) Coordinator, has been elected vice president of the Council of Writing Program Administrators. She will become president of the organization in 2021.

Mark Weaver, assistant professor of statistics, is a co-investigator on a new R01 grant from the National Institutes of Health to test methods for reducing chronic pain and long-term opioid use among older adults with musculoskeletal pain.

The Department of Religious Studies faculty will collaborate with colleagues from the University of St. Thomas and Augsburg University on the $7,500 Wabash Center grant.

The grant is for the assistant professor of psychology's project, "An empirical investigation of allyship and intersectionality to signal identity safety for stigmatized individuals in the workplace."

Jennifer J. Carroll, assistant professor of anthropology, has received an award to evaluate novel harm-reduction programs in Massachussetts.
