Join us for a series of faculty, staff, students, alumni and guest speaker’s presentations on issues related to the Latinx/Hispanic community at Elon and beyond. Come to one, two, or all!

 

The panel of faculty experts will focus on DACA: what is it, what's happening now, and what may be the future for those involved. The event begins at 5:15 p.m. in LaRose Theater in Koury Business Center and will be followed by a discussion organized by Latinx/Hispanic students. 

The Council on Civic Engagement hosts this annual recap of the new events from the summer on Wednesday, Aug. 30, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in McKinnon Hall.

Department of Performing Arts presents Deirdre Kinahan's play, "Moment," directed by Kim Shively.  Performances at Roberts Theatre, Scott Studios at Arts West, Jan. 19 through 22 and Jan. 30 through Feb. 3

¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·'s Women's, Gender and Sexualities Studies program invites Peggy Orenstein for The Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Lecture in Lakeside Hall, Moseley Center at 6 p.m.

 

Tickets are now available for the Jan. 10 lecture by Moore, a bestselling author, social entrepreneur and motivational leader. Moore will speak in McCrary Theatre at 6 p.m.
