The department's winter production runs Thursday through Saturday, with performances at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in McCrary Theatre. 

In conjunction with The Religious Body Imagined symposium, an exhibition of Christian, Hindu and Buddhist figures will be on view in Numen Lumen Pavilion with an opening reception on Friday, Feb. 8, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The keynote address for the "Religious Body Reimagined" symposium will be given by S. Brent Plate and sponsored by the Elon Center for the Study of Religion, Culture and Society. 

Randy Williams, associate vice president for campus engagement and an assistant professor of education, reflects on ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·’s 2018–19 Common Reading, 'Something Must Be Done ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Prince Edward County,' in a program to engage the community on contemporary issues involving civil rights and race.

Tickets to see Loretta Lynch, the first African-American woman to serve as Attorney General of the United States and an accomplished former federal prosecutor, go on sale starting February 7, 2019.

Tickets for the first Distinguished Leadership Lecture of the 2018-19 academic year, postponed from September due to Hurricane Florence, have been distributed. The lecture will be streamed to Yeager Recital Hall on ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·'s main campus for those unable to attend in Greensboro.

Green's "Something Must be Done ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Prince Edward County" is Elon's Common Reading selection for 2018-19. Her visit is hosted by the Elon Core Curriculum and the Office of Cultural and Special Programs. 

Directed by Amy Beasley, Dancing in the Landscape is a performance of site-specific works created by dance faculty Lauren Kearns, Sara Tourek, Ashlee Ramsey, and Amy Beasley and senior dance majors Allison Ivan and Brennan Kolbo. 

Artist and illlustrator Natalie Frank and preeminent fairy tale scholar Jack Zipes discuss what their collaborative projects have taught them about the nature of storytelling and the complexity of fairy tales.

The annual summer news update panel discussion will be held Aug. 29 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in McKinnon Hall.
