Justice and Human Rights in Cambodia lecture, April 1

Sophal Ear, an expert on Cambodia from the Navy Postgraduate School, will be presenting a lecture titled “Cambodia: Fragile Hopes After the Killing Fields” on Tuesday, April 1st at 7:30 pm in Whitley Auditorium. Ear will address issues of historical legacy and justice (including the Khmer Rouge regime) as well as the country’s human rights record.

Bake Sale for Cambodian Landmine Refugees, April 16-17

Asian Studies Club is hosting a bake sale to raise money for Cambodian children who have been affected by landmines! The money will be donated to the Akira Landmine Action Center for the educational materials and the construction of new facilities.

Please stop by the table in Moseley this Monday and Tuesday! Baked goods range from $0.50 to $1.00. Donations are also welcome!
