We spent the hours of 3-6 p.m. cleaning up the road and the surrounding community. As an environmentally conscious and community minded brotherhood, we feel it our duty to help our neighbors and the larger world.

The event is an opportunity for students and faculty to converse outside of the classroom and more importantly, it is an opportunity for the men of Kappa Sigma to express the gratitude we feel we owe our professors.

The men of Kappa Sigma also participated in Safe Rides last week on Thursday, Aug. 30 and Friday, Aug. 31. The number for Safe Rides is 336-278-RIDE(7433). Safe Rides is a student-run organization that provides transportation for students at night.
