Partner sites include: Kopper Top Life Learning Center, OE Enterprises, Lost Soul Ministries, ABSS What’s after High School Career/College Expo, Hospice Homes Flea Market, Women’s Resource Center Herb Festival, Allied Churches and North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center

The day begins with a breakfast at Harden Clubhouse before you depart for service. Lunch and drinks will also be provided.

Come be part of Make A Difference Day 2008. This is a day of service in the Burlington community. Open to students, faculty/staff, and community members. 

Make A Difference Day consists of two events:

Kick-off: Friday, Oct. 24  5 – 6:30 p.m. in McKinnon Hall. Includes food, entertainment, key speakers and t-shirts. Attendance to event will be included in our service hours. 

Day of Service: Saturday, Oct. 25 groups arrive at assigned agency and complete tasks that were discussed the night before.

Join us Saturday, April 21st for Elon Service Day. Elon students will be sent to different agencies around the Burlington community. Some of these agencies include the Boys and Girls Club, Eastlawn Elementary, Mosaic Rural Wellness Center, Blackey Hall, and Elon Homes. Service projects include painting two murals, working in a media lab, yard work, and spring cleaning. Breakfast, lunch, and a Service Day t-shirt will all be provided!
