Papers from the inaugural scholarly meeting held by the Center for the Study of Religion Culture and Society in 2017 were recently published in CrossCurrents journal.

The award from the United Way of Alamance County was offered in recognition of the university's dedication to the local community. 

At the annual Faculty/Staff Awards Luncheon on May 15, the Elon community honored 11 faculty members and six staff members who are retiring this year.

Members of Elon’s faculty and staff, along with retiring employees, were honored May 15 for excellence and service to Elon.

The 45th annual athletics awards banquet was held May 13 in Alumni Gym and recognized the accomplishments of student-athletes during the 2018-19 academic year. 

This year saw 80 percent of ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· employees make gifts to the institution in support of student scholarships, athletics programs and more. The increased engagement comes as Elon pursues its ambitious Elon LEADS Campaign, which seeks to raise $250 million during the next three years. 

Among those visiting Elon next year are former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, Wikipedia founder and entrepreneur Jimmy Wales, Sesame Street actress and author Sonia Manzano, free speech advocate and author Zachary R. Wood and renowned civil rights scholar and Phi Beta Kappa leader Frederick M. Lawrence.
