They will be encouraged to think about the ways their actions perpetuate inequalities based on race, gender, religion, sex, ability, sexual orientation, appearance, and class. The goal of the program is to raise awareness and inspire social change within our campus community. This event is open to the campus community. All are welcomed. See you there!

The SMART mentoring program (Student Advising Rising Talent) focuses on the development and transition of our firstyear students. 

The SMART mentoring program place a critical role in supporting the mission of the Multicultural Center. All mentors will to go through a application and interview process. A strong candidate is a person that has a passion for helping others, is a strong leader, is able to work well with a team and is committed to the development of first year students.  ALL ARE WELCOMED TO APPLY!

We are currently accepting student leadership applications for the ’08-’09 school year. If you are interested in a Resident Assistant (RA- Residence Halls) or Housing Assistant (HA- Apartments) position please pick up an application from Residence Life in Moseley 213. The Office of Residence Life would like to open up this apt for persons who want to move into the oaks THIS spring. This is open for people who do not currently live in the Oaks.

Applications to apply to live in the Oaks this spring will be available in the Oaks Area office on Monday, Feb. 19th. Please be aware that there will be a quick turn around time.

This is a separate process from the traditional housing selection process that will begin in March.

Are you looking for a summer job that is fun and challenging? Or maybe you are looking for a new summer experience? Working for summer conferences may be the answer. Residence Life is currently looking for enthusiastic people who would love a fun new experience as Summer Assistants for the upcoming summer. This position gives students the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks with a variety of people. As a Summer Assistant, you will assist in preparing for upcoming summer conferences and events. You will also help provide support to visitors and guests with tasks such as checking in arriving guests and providing Customer Service during their conferences or events. Our SAs will also have the opportunity of helping Residence Life with opening for the new school year by assisting with the Early Arrival desk.
