Elon's 2013 Results Compared to the past two years.

Here are the rankings for the final results:

Per Capita: 161/361 at 10.752 lbs./person

Mixed Paper: 44/164 at 5.843 lbs./person

Cardboard: 83/162 at 3.187 lbs./person

BTL/Can: 59/163 at 1.722 lbs./person

Compared to Elon’s participation in 2011 and 2012, we have increased the amount of recycled materials (lbs./person) per capita, as well as mixed paper! Check out Elon’s 2013 results compared to the results in 2011 and 2012.

Thank you to everyone that participated and recycled throughout the competition, we could not have done it without you. Remember to keep recycling all throughout Elon’s campus!

Here are the results for the RecycleMania competition WEEK ONE! Elon ranked 1st in the Southern Conference ahead of UNCG and The Citadel for overall weight captured in week one.

154 out of 288 participants with 10,085 lbs overall

Per Capita Placement
144 out of 277 with 1.267 lbs per person

Be sure to toss all plastics, aluminum and glass as well as all paper products in the appropriate bins found all over campus now through March 31 and help Elon compete with more than 700 other colleges and universities.
