Marna Winter, teaching professor of education and associate director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, will present two projects at the 2026 Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Summit hosted by Kennesaw State University.

The annual conference brought together educators at Elon and online to explore how teaching today can prepare students with the skills and adaptability they need for the future.

This summer, the Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) welcomed scholars from around the world to Elon for a full season of collaborative research, including three weeklong Research Seminars and the annual Conference on Engaged Learning.  

Tracey Thurnes, professor and academic operations coordinator of physician assistant studies, has been selected as the inaugural CATL Pedagogy Fellow for Teaching and Learning in Graduate and Professional Programs.

Annual showcase to feature research on teaching and learning, including equity in STEM, global engagement, and emerging technologies.

Elon faculty showcased a wide range of innovative teaching practices at the 2025 ISSOTL Conference, sharing new insights on student learning, inclusive pedagogy and the evolving landscape of higher education.

Kyle Atlmann and Martin Kamela have been named the 2026-2028 CATL Scholars for their research related to Standards-Based Grading in University Physics I and II.
