“Underground” meeting on Oct. 18; crew needed

There will be a MANDATORY meeting for “Underground” staff, production, crew, and actors on Thursday, October 18, at 7 p.m. in McEwen Communications (upstairs). Bring your copy of the script and a calendar/planner.

“Underground” is also looking for help with on-set production. If you can hold a microphone or set up props you would be of great value to us. Please contact bscuiletti@elon.edu or lward3@elon.edu for more information. We need people as soon as Friday afternoon so contact us soon!

Acting Auditions for “Underground” on Sept. 22

Anyone who is interested in trying out for the pilot episode of “Underground” must attend the casting session on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 12 p.m. Auditions will be held in McEwen 210.

If you are trying out, you must memorize a 1-2 minute monologue that showcases your talents. Also be prepared to read a selected passage from the script that you’ll see when you arrive. Furthermore, the lead actor will be there to read parts with you. Come prepared with that monologue and be ready to showcase why you deserve a part in Elon’s newest venture!

You must arrive promptly at 12 p.m. If there is a conflict, and you absolutely cannot make it or must audition early in the session (only a few exceptions will be made for day-of early auditions), e-mail Brett Scuiletti at bscuiletti@elon.edu to reschedule.

“Underground” TV Meeting on 9/19

“Underground” will have another meeting for its ESTV pilot episode. All students interested in acting, production, writing, editing, crew work, or music production should plan on attending.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 19th, at 7pm in McEwen 011. Attendance is mandatory if you are interested.

If you did not come to the last meeting, you must come to this one. Everyone who came last time must also attend, as we will be discussing upcoming production dates and activities.

An interest meeting for the pilot episode of “Underground,” a potential new drama series for ESTV, will be held on Thursday, September 6, from 6:30 to 8:00pm in McEwen 011.

Potential actors, production staff, crew, extras, editors, and writers: please attend.

Cast, Crew Needed for “Underground” on ESTV

Filming for the pilot episode of “Underground,” Elon’s first scripted drama series for ESTV, begins in September.

Actors: Stay tuned for casting dates and information. Many starring and recurring roles have not yet been cast! Extras are also needed.

Production and Crew: Editors, writers, cinematographers, camera operators, site crew, and many leadership positions are still available.

Students of any year are encouraged to join or attend casting sessions.
