Guest artists Al Strong and Jon Metzger will share their talents in their own performance with Elon faculty as well as performing with the Elon jazz ensemble. This is a free event and will be hosted in the Center for the Arts. Here is a breakdown of the events for the festival:

Friday, Feb. 17

Performances from local high schools in McCrary Theatre. (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

Jam session led by the Elon jazz combo at The Oak House. (7 – 9 p.m.)

Saturday, Feb. 18

Workshops given by Guest Artists in CFA room 164. (1 – 3 p.m.)

Performance by Elon Jazz Ensemble and guest artists in McCrary Theatre. (7:30 p.m.)

The ensemble will perform聽 jazz music from notable composers such as Count Basie, Charlie Parker, Antonio Carlos Jobim and many more. The concert will also feature a set from the 福利亚洲国产精品 Jazz Combo group led by director and adjunct instructor in music, Chip Newton. This performance is open to the public and is free admission.
