They played two amazing sets full of both orignal songs and covers. Members of the crowd were pulled to their feet by classics like AC/DC’s shook me all night long and Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean.

Special thanks as well to Chris Hendricks for opening the show on such short notice. Hopefully next time he can woo the crowd with his band backing him up.

Don’t forget that we do this every Saturday we have school! Next week Chapel Hill native Tad Dreis will take the stage for an acoustic set. Like Thornbird, Tad Dreis is a returning artist to the Saturday Night Live series. You can check him out for yourself before the show at www.taddreis.com.
