The Fine Arts Living Community is producing a Haunted House at the Beth Schmidt Park.

When: October 24-26

Where: The Town of Elon’s Beth Schmidt Park, 434 Cook Road, Elon

Time: Each night from 8-11 p.m.

Come and see a story of old Voodoo New Orleans: The ancient voodoo queen Marie Laveau has haunted our house and has snared the souls of many who walked along these halls.  Will she snatch your soul?  Come and find out — who knows, you might even get a good scare while at the Mansion.

]]> Childrens Halloween Carnival Oct. 24 /u/news/2008/10/15/childrens-halloween-carnival-oct-24/ Wed, 15 Oct 2008 15:27:00 +0000 /u/news/2008/10/15/childrens-halloween-carnival-oct-24/ The Town of Elon needs volunteers for its Halloween Carnival. It is on Friday, Oct. 24 from 6-8pm. We will need volunteers from 5-9pm. Volunteers will be used to help with various tasks such as: set-up, help run craft stations, help out with carnival games, and clean up.  It will be held at the Beth Schmidt Park, 434 Cook Road in Elon.
